Spyros Emmanouilidis
Born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1981. In his youth he studied the piano. His sound is based on experimentation with found sounds, tapes, prepared piano and samples usually combined with analog sources and feedback. His main interest is to create multilayered sound environments that vary in tension, rhythm, and texture.
He has composed music for performances of contemporary art and theater. He collaborates regularly with Savvas Metaxas as a duo project. In the past, he has been a member of the music groups V.I.A., Good Luck Mr. Gorsky and Vokal Idiot.
He co-runs Granny Records since 2008.
